At Home French Manicure

First can we just admire the quality of this mobile picture? This iPhone photo really brings out all the imperfections of my nails... Anywhoo! I've been a follower of MszJackieChu on YouTube for almost a year now, and the first video I watched was her tutorial on how to give yourself an at home French Manicure. She has since put up a new one but I still prefer her old one. ;]
(Orly's Bare Rose, OPI's Alpine Snow, OPI Natural Nail Strengthener, OPI Top Coat, Beauty Secrets Acetone, Q-tips)
I absolutely LOVE Orly's Bare Rose for this look, and OPI's Alpine Snow gives the perfect white tips just like she says. I even went out and got pure acetone instead of using my regular Target nail polish remover, it does make a difference. The line is much more smooth. While I love this look I would like to try the Orly base coat and Seche Vite top coat to see if it stays longer without chipping. As you can tell instead of using a flat rounded paint brush I just used Q-tips. This substitution is not because I think Q-tips work better, but because I haven't gone to a craft store to pick up a brush. :P So if you're like me then try Q-tips for a quick effective substitute. I will only say that before dipping the tip into your acetone, try picking off the extra loose fuzzies on the tip, they make your line look messy if you keep it on.

Hello There!

I'm completely plugged into the internet as of now. I currently have accounts with Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Flickr, and even Pottermore. I think Blogspot officially does it for me. No more! While I'm not unhappy with my other accounts I just think Blogspot would be a great outlet to talk about what I'm loving most at the moment; SHOPPING! I'll post pictures of products I've bought and I may even put up pictures of crafty projects I'm working on. :3 And hey, maybe some personal tidbits every now and then?
Happy Blogging!
